Help us raise £20,000 in the fight against water scarcity!
BUILD A MASJID
BUILD A WATER WELL
80% of the world is covered in water yet 783 million around the world suffer from water shortages. They are forced to drink contaminated water leading to disease, death, crop failure and famine. To continue the fight against water shortages, we built a water well in Zanzibar (2014) benefiting children at a local school for a cost of £1,750. We intend to invest in water wells spread across Togo and Benin. The price of water wells are as follow:
£450 Togo/Benin (A water well will provide 100 people access to safe water)
Most rural villages in Togo and Benin do not have access to education, safe water and are very isolated. ANO have started a project in Togo and Benin working together with brothers from the area, to give da’wah, secular and Islamic education. This project will be essential for the integration of the local communities to the rest of the country.
We aim to build water wells, mosques and support male and female teachers for local schools to tackle water scarcity, give the people a place of worship and reduce the illiteracy rate. 4 mosques and 8 wells have been built already but many villages still have no access to safe water. Please help us, help them!
1 small mosque £8,250 Capacity 150 people
1 Big Mosque £10,250 Capacity 250+ People
(Costs have increased to to exchange rate changes)
SUPPORT A TEACHER
Support 22 female teacher at a cost of £20 per month
Support 16 Male teacher/ preacher at a cost of £40 per month
